2005-2012 Koinetwork under contract with the Comune di Sesto San Giovanni (Italy), consisting in a permanent assistance in the elaboration of the different parts of the application file to be presented to ICOMOS for the World Heritage List, including conceptual and textual work; work sessions on the field; visits; contacts, communication of the project. |

2006-2008 Koinetwork under contract with the Parco Geominerario Storico Ambientale della Sardegna, resulting – mainly thanks to the action of Maria Teresa Pontois - in: 1. a contribution to updating the membership of the Park in the European and World networks of the Geoparks recognized by UNESCO; which has allowed opening contacts between Koinetwork and the UNESCO Division of the Sciences of the Earth and of Ecology; 2. the inclusion of the Park in TICCIH’s thematic Mining Section as well as in TICCIH network; 3. an attempt for constituting a scientific network of the Geoparks at the international level. |
